To us the program, your character(s) will need to be added to the database.  This needs to be done by an officer or one of the site administrators.  Contact one of them and request them to add you.  Then you can start up the program.  Upon start up you will need to do two things, entering the server address will be first.  Ours is http://www.auberean.org/(soontobemade)  -- copy and paste this into the box requesting server location.

Next you will have to enter your character's name plus the default password the first time you sign in.  The default password is password.  After you sign on for the first time, change your password to something you can remember by pulling down the "current player functions" menu on the menu bar and clicking on change password.  This will prevent outsiders from changing your data.  After the first sign-on, you will only need to enter your new password.  The rest of the data will remain.

Once you are logged on, you will be able to edit the majority of the information about your character(s) by yourself and then save it to the server.  Fill in as much data as you can.  

Of course this program is only as good as the people who use it.  If you are diligent in entering your data, others in the society will be able to locate you if they need someone with a particular structure.  You may need to find someone else some day too.  Hopefully, there will be enough people who take the time to fill in what is known about the members of the society to allow everyone to know everyone else a little better.
